Frequently Asked Questions
How does it work?
If you're wondering how endermologie works, we encourage you to watch the informative video below. It will give you a great understanding of how this natural and non-aggressive treatment works.
Endermologie reactivates cellular activity by mechanically stimulating your skin using a pleasant and non-aggressive technique.
The two independent motorised rollers (patented by LPG) gently roll the skin using three directions of rotation (roll in, roll up, roll out). These settings are selected by the therapist and vary depending on the client’s desired outcome.
In response to this physical and physiological response we can eliminate fat deposits for body sculpting and contouring, increase and therefore improve circulation and lymphatic drainage to reduce fluid retention and smooth cellulite, and to stimulate the fibroblast cells to enable firming and toning of the skin.
Endermologie reactivates cellular activity by mechanically stimulating your skin. Equipped with Rolls (rollers) or Lifts (flaps), the treatment heads gently grasp the skin tissue and target different areas of the body and face using the 100% natural mecano-stimulation technique.
The two independent motorized rollers (patented by LPG) gently pull the skin using three directions of rotation, depending on the desired objectives.
The various folds treat different types of tissue, including cellulite, adipose, edematous, fibrous, adherent, inflammatory, thin, fragile, and relaxed tissue.
Does Endermologie really work?

Endermologie is an FDA approved cellulite reduction treatment, in fact, it is the only FDA approved cellulite reduction treatment.
How long are treatments?
Treatments allocation times are 50 minutes. When you arrive you will prepare for your treatment by putting on your body stocking and making yourself comfortable on the Endermolab treatment table. Your full treatment time is 40 minutes. You then have access to our state of the art mPulse infrared sauna for a 30 minute session- complimentary with all Endermologie packages!
How long does it take to see results?
Clients report feeling energised after just one treatment and begin noticing physical changes in as little as 2-3 treatments. After 2 weeks of treatments you will definitely see more changes and results continue to improve on a weekly basis.
How will we track my progress?
Before your first treatment we will take photos and measurements of your target areas. We will then re-take your photos and measurements throughout your course of treatments. Clients often forget where they were when they started and are so appreciative of having these to look back on.
How many treatments will I need?
As we are all unique so are our treatment plans. During your 30 minute complimentary consultation we will perform a skin assessment and discuss your goals with you so we have a true understanding of what you are wanting to achieve. From here we will create your treatment plan to reflect this and also customise a payment plan to suit you.
Does it hurt?
Where there is deep, hard cellulite it can be uncomfortable while the treatment head is working on the particular area. After 2 or 3 treatments it usually feels much better as the cellulite is breaking down. Other than this, clients report the treatment to be very relaxing and liken it to a massage.
Is it detoxifying?
Yes! The treatment stimulates blood flow and lymphatic drainage to remove the waste products which are broken down during the treatment. It’s important to be well hydrated before and after your treatment.
Do I need optimisation treatments?
Yes if you want to maintain your results! Upon completion of your course of treatments, your fat cells will be working very efficiently. We recommend monthly optimisation treatments to ensure you keep your fat cells working efficiently.
What is a peel?
A peel is a non invasive treatment that improves the appearance of our skin. By eliminating the dead skin cells on the surface, we reveal luminous glowing skin. Collagen and elastin production is stimulated which improves the health of our skin underneath the surface.
What does it feel like?
Each peel is different as they contain different ingredients depending of the outcome we are working towards. Some clients report feeling very hot, while others say it is more of an annoying/itchy feeling. Once the peel is neutralised and your gel mask applied this feeling goes away.
What is the difference between your Lunchtime Peels and your Specialised Peels listed on your treatment menu?
The lunchtime peels contain either a blend of glycolic/lactic or salycilic/mandalic. These are superficial peels which deliver beautifully luminous skin while being relatively gentle.
Our Specialised Peels are just that, more specialised. Depending on your desired outcome more potent ingredients are used such as our incredible results driven vitamin C. These peels can be layered and/or combined with our signature SkinPlaning and are always tailored to your requirements on the day.
What is SkinPlaning?
A manual exfoliation technique that safely and efficiently removes surface debris (dead skin cells) from the epidermis. It gives a fantastic foundation for the application of peels or masks so the ingredients can penetrate more effectively.
Does it hurt?
Not at all. As all out treatments are done by trained professionals, clients do not report any pain.
Who is it Skin Needling suitable for?

Why are SkinCeuticals products different?
SkinCeuticals products are backed by science from the first stages of their development through the packaging of the final formulations. Extensive medical-grade clinical testing that proves our products’ efficacy sets SkinCeuticals apart from other cosmeceutical brands on the market.
What does an antioxidant do for my skin?
Antioxidants provide protection from free radicals that cause damage deep within the skin. Unlike sunscreens that protect skin from UV rays, antioxidants prevent skin damage caused by other environmental aggressors such as infrared radiation, pollution, cigarette smoke, alcohol, and more. SkinCeuticals antioxidants have also been proven to reverse skin damage, including fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation.
